Why We Collect Personal Information

Please note that personal information can be sorted into two separate and distinct categories: identifying information and sensitive personal information. Identifying information is defined as any information that can identify a person, either directly or indirectly. Sensitive personal information includes genetic data and information regarding health, sex life, sexual orientation, religious & political views, mental, physiological, economic, cultural or social identities. Essentially, it includes anything that could potentially put an individual at risk of unlawful discrimination. Please note that personal data is something that relates and pertains to a living individual only. It does not include legal entities in any way, shape or form. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with personal data and identifying information, so as not to confuse them. Any and all personal information that we collect is considered necessary and/or useful in the continuing journey towards being as user-friendly as possible, as well as complying with applicable laws and regulations. Focus On Kitchen uses identifying information, not sensitive personal information.
